The business, which raised $8.35M in recent funding, works with over 3,500 restaurants nationwide to deliver an easy takeout and dine-in experience with minimum contact and service time.
FREMONT, CA: Allset, the leading food ordering platform focused on takeout and contactless dining, announced the launch of its new feature, Dietary Preferences, making it seamless for diners to find and get the best meal options nearby personalized to their taste and needs. Customers can also relay their allergies and special instructions to the restaurants they are ordering from.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Allset is a food pre-ordering platform that links local restaurants and its busy diners for daily dining that is easy, fast, and frictionless with the aid of advanced technology. The business has pioneered a sit-down meal or pre-ordering service at restaurants and now sees growing attention in its contactless pickup and dine-in choices.
The business, which raised $8.35M in recent funding, works with over 3,500 restaurants nationwide to deliver an easy takeout and dine-in experience with minimum contact and service time. Guests can order ahead before they arrive at the eatery or order on the spot, with Contactless Pickup, Curbside, and Dine-In options presented.
"We're excited to introduce a first-of-its-kind personalized experience for our users built around their specific dietary needs and food preferences, as part of our mission to make everyday dining more efficient," said Anna Polishchuk, Chief Product Officer, Allset.
How the new feature works:
1. A customer adds their diet, allergies, and food preferences. For example, the diner can select things like vegetarian and gluten-free, cuisines like Thai, and specific foods, like burgers.
2. Allset will show the top restaurant and food options by adding the section 'For You' on the restaurant feed and every restaurant menu to ensure the customer sees the good eateries and dishes the second they open the application.
3. Restaurants check customer's special instructions and allergies on each order. The customer can also add food allergies to a custom note that will be applied to each of their orders automatically.
