A new drying system was developed by Nyle Systems that offers more flexibility and choices to fit ideal processing scenarios for customers.
FREMONT, CA: Manufacturers of food and pet foods have their way of manufacturing products, and there is also a need for a wide variety of solutions for the production process of drying. Nyle Systems have introduced a new drying system that offers more flexibility and choices to fit ideal processing scenarios for customers.
A dehumidification unit, air handling equipment, and touch screen controls are features of the Nyle Container Food Dryer that establish a wholly controlled environment inside the re-engineered shipping container. For more than four decades, Nyle Systems has been producing drying systems in the USA, and the new container food dryer is just the latest version in drying that Nyle is advancing. In the container chamber, the customer can pick and configure racks, shelves, trays, and carts to dry the product.
One main advantage of utilizing the Nyle Container Food Dryer is that it can be relocated and is prefabricated. Therefore, for consumers who are low on a footprint to install a drying device inside their facility walls, it is flexible and can support facility expansion. Their Nyle Container Food Dryer was built outside their walls by a recent customer, but it is directly linked and has a comfortable, large entrance door to the actual building.
The consumer may establish the perfect environment for the food or pet product that is being dried in the small, closed-loop container chamber - their atmosphere regulated by the touch of a button. The touchscreen and remote-control access systems offer real-time temperature, relative humidity, and air velocity data. For every food or pet treat, customers should build and store precise drying recipes to maintain product continuity and quality control.
“Our energy-efficient systems feature heat pump technology, so they may also help food manufacturers save money and qualify for one of the state energy efficiency incentive programs popping up around the country,” said Nyle CEO Ton Mathissen. “A recent customer in Massachusetts received an energy efficiency grant from their state which covered the cost of the drying system,” he added.
