Reading Thermal was consulted to profile their line and found that the source was a clogged hot air duct in the oven. Chicken grease had caused the clog and resulted in low air velocity in certain areas. Upon removing the clog, Reading Thermal re-ran its sensors and saw this solved the air velocity and product consistency issues. Grease clogs like those found could result in oven fires, not just poor product if left undetected.
