FREMONT, CA: Aleph Farms, a cultured meat startup, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BRF, a multinational Brazilian meat and food corporation, to deliver cultivated meat to Brazilian tables. Aleph and BRF will collaborate to grow and manufacture cultivated meat using Aleph's proprietary manufacturing platforms (BioFarm).

Aleph's growth strategy of expanding into the emerging global food network is aided by this partnership, which allows for a more significant positive impact.
This alignment benefits both businesses in their sustainability and food security missions, in addition to the economic potential of cultivated meat in the Brazilian market. Brazil recently reaffirmed its pledge to reduce gross net greenhouse gas emissions by 43 percent by 2030 to the UN (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change-UNFCCC).
