Oterra Announces the Acquisition of SECNA Natural Ingredients Group S.L

Oterra is delighted to inform that it has completed its acquisition of SECNA Natural Ingredients Group S.L. 

FREMONT, CA : Oterra is delighted to inform that, further to the press release on April 27, 2021, it has acquired SECNA Natural Ingredients Group S.L.

This is Oterra's first acquisition, bought by private investment company EQT in March 2021 after Chr. Hansen sold their natural colours business (Chr. Hansen Natural Colors). Oterra recently stated its intention to explore a second acquisition, this time the colors business of Diana Food.

Oterra will be able to provide even more value to its consumers worldwide due to this acquisition. SECNA'S anthocyanins from black carrots and grapes and caramel and an organic collection are all part of notable portfolio additions. The SECNA group will be fully integrated into Oterra after a span of time.

Around 80 SECNA employees will join Oterra, with offices in Spain and Italy. This is an interesting opportunity for Oterra, and they are looking forward to joining the team.
