FREMONT, CA: Tacit Corporation has launched an integration that enables Uber Eats orders to directly sync into Burger’s Priest’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system, reducing errors and enhancing the efficiency.
In a recent study the Tacit, it is found that almost 90-105 seconds is the duration taken by an employee to process the incoming orders, with an average of 15 percent error in peak time. The process of collecting orders from third-party food ordering systems, and the employee will next re-key the order into the POS systems is tedious and can confuse the staff of the restaurant. Hence, integration plays a benchmark in innovation.
Tacit was introduced to Uber Eats by The Burger’s Priest’s mother company ‘Crave It’. This interaction was carried out as Tacit was experienced in the field of POS systems.
Tacit aids almost all major hospitality companies globally to increase revenue and lower operating costs with its multi-channel, easy-to-install digital ordering solutions. Tacit’s self-ordering systems are delivered via digital channels, which includes fully branded applications, websites, tablets, in-store shelves, kiosks, and customer service systems.
The company has expressed excitement in expanding their vision for making the restaurant processes much efficient, especially in the delivery marketplace segment. It is looking forward to broadening its omnichannel ordering platform to enhance operational efficiency.
The food delivery company, Uber Eats, has notified the new integration with the POS system at The Burger’s Priest.
The collaboration and the solution by Tacit Corporation, especially the linking of orders collected directly to POS system has been successful, as the customers can now directly place an order which is redirected to POS systems without the need for any human to be associated with it. The costs concerning to this move has been eliminated, and with no human entering in this process, the errors are cut down, resulting in a quicker order receiving system.
